Brooke + Craig | Boone Mountain Engagement Session
The week of Brooke and Craig’s engagement session, Josh and I camped out near Grandfather Mountain and enjoyed some time in this area of the mountains. Admittedly, we spent a lot of this time editing and catching up on some computer work… but when you’re doing it in front of the campfire and drinking IPA in the crisp mountain air… well its really not too bad! We met up with Brooke and Craig at her parent’s family cozy cabin in Boone, North Carolina. We started out the session with a little dog walk to a nearby field then walked back for some snuggles with the pups. I think the dogs might have enjoyed this session even more than their humans. They ate up every moment of belly rubs and chin scratches.
After a bit, the dogs had their fill of of snuggles and we followed Brooke and Craig in their badass yellow jeep to another spot in Boone off the Blue Ridge parkway. We actually had planned to hit up a spot along the BRP that Brooke had been to before, but we went the wrong way and ended up at Rough Ridge instead. Despite the unplanned stop, I don’t think anyone can be mad about it. Those sweeping blue ridge views and sunsets over Grandfather Mountain are pretty epic. We all sipped a little champagne, Brooke and Craig snuggled and admired the views, and we stayed out until dusk. Such a great way to end our evening. Thanks so much for the great company guys! Can’t wait for the big day next spring!
