Mitchell + Russ | North Carolina Waterfall Adventure Engagement

 

Mitchell and Russ met up with us for an adventure engagement session in the mountains this September. We ended up having to cancel their original date due to some crazy weather and met up on their rain date at the park the day after instead… but still had rain anyhow. You can try to predict the weather in the mountains, but mother nature has her own plans. Also on this session, we noticed a crazy two time pattern of things. We got stuck in a downpour not once, but twice (we ended the session all completely drenched from head to toe!), we saw two salamanders on the trail, and photographed among two waterfalls. Their cute doggy hiked along with us- up all the rocks and into the creeks. We just love the lovely little creeks, lush laurels, and green moss that grow in western North Carolina. Its always such a treat to shoot here- even when mother nature decides to rain down on us. :)

Spent the past few days out at South Mountain, hiking to waterfalls, walking through creeks, and going for spooky night hikes. Neither of us realized how beautiful this small park was. #hartmantravels
