Styled Bridal Shoot | Merry Hill Farm, Mebane NC

Merry Hill Farm is a newer wedding venue that we just love to photograph! Located out in Mebane, it’s situated about 40 minutes from Raleigh in rural North Carolina. This gorgeous venue features a southern plantation style home, large open fields, and a horse farm. It is such a beautiful location for newlywed portraits at sunset and we are just over the moon with how our last session turned out there!

Whenever brides come to us for wedding venue recommendations, Merry Hill Farm is at the top of our list. The owners Lynne and Grace are so friendly and laid-back. They make you feel right at home. You might also enjoy meeting the resident peacocks who roam the land. You might even get photo-bombed by a peacock. Packages also include use of the property for the whole weekend which allows you plenty of time to setup and decorate for your wedding. Plus, it is so affordable, which we know makes our couples pretty happy. :)

So when Merry Hill Farm asked us to photograph their styled shoot we responded with something along the lines of “Hell Yes!” The wisteria was in full bloom behind their house and their beautiful model wowed us in that stunning mermaid gown. As the sun set, we went out to the field where we met up with a friendly horse on the Merry Hill Farm property. We had perfect lighting and I must say that these photos turned out beautifully!
