Rachel + Chris | Magnolia Manor Plantation Wedding
Rachel and Chris are married ya’ll! These two contacted us from New York City where they live many, many months ago. After communicating through phone and email, it was great to finally be able to meet them both in person and share in this wonderful day. Rachel’s family lives in North Carolina, so they decided to have the big celebration down here at Magnolia Manor Plantation. Magnolia Manor Plantation is a bed and breakfast and event venue in historic Warrenton, NC, located only about an hour outside of Raleigh. Its filled with antique charm and is decorated in rich colorful details. When it came to her wedding day, Rachel chose the most perfect dress for her venue. She wore a jaw dropping gown full of intricate beading, vintage details, and sheer lace. I’m a huge fan of sleeved wedding dresses and this one definitely goes down as one of my all time favorites.
Rachel and Chris held their ceremony outside on the Magnolia Manor Plantation pecan grove. We were blessed with beautiful weather and a warm breeze that rustled through the trees. After saying their I do’s and enjoying some alone time during their couples portraits, these two continued their celebration in the rustic Carriage House Pavilion on the property. Guests danced, and laughed, and enjoyed a wonderful night together. There was even a giant bonfire out back with smores (yum!). Having so many friends from out of town, Rachel and Chris wanted to make the most of their time with them. I think its safe to say that everyone had a great time. At the end of the night, these two rode off in the party bus to continue the celebration.
Rachel and Chris, thank you so much for asking us to be a part of this beautiful day! The love you have for each other is radiant and I know you two will enjoy a long and happy life together. ~Shelley and Josh Hartman, Raleigh – Durham Wedding Photographers
