Maggie + Jimmy | Elon Engagement

Could Maggie and Jimmy be any more adorable?! These two met at Elon University where they shared a psychology class and have been inseparable ever since. Maggie heard about us when we photographed her sister’s wedding, and her sister heard about us when we photographed her friend’s wedding. It’s such an honor when our brides and grooms spread the love and we are so excited to see all of these sweet people again in January at Maggie and Jimmy’s wedding!

Since Maggie and Jimmy met at Elon University, it seemed natural to include this beautiful campus in their engagement session. We even took pictures in front of the building where they took that very first class together. Honestly, these two are too cute for words. The day we met up was a wintry gray day. There was a chill in the air, but these two kept each other warm. Jimmy is a professional baseball coach out in Texas, so he got special permission to take pics on the Elon Baseball field. These two snuggled up in the dugout, on the stands, and, of course, on home plate. I love that they made a Save the Date out of a baseball and brought their own catching glove!

To finish up the session, we headed over to Maggie’s family farm to say hello to her horses and see the barn. As I pulled up into the driveway, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. You couldn’t ask for a place with more rustic character. The horses weren’t the biggest fans of my camera, but I managed to get a few shots of these beautiful animals before we let them run loose.
