Jamie + German | Summerfield Farms Wedding

Jamie and German had their gorgeous wedding last weekend at Summerfield Farms located just outside of Greensboro, NC. Summerfield Farms is a beautiful wedding venue featuring a large reception barn, a huge open plot of land, and a giant oak tree where ceremonies can be held. Plus, it’s only a stone’s throw from Raleigh. Jamie and German both live in Atlanta but planned their wedding in North Carolina so that their NC families could come. They filled their car up with wedding decor and headed up to Greensboro to prepare for the party of their lives.

When the wedding day finally came, Jamie and German were both cool as a cucumber. Jamie laughed and smiled as she got ready and put on her beautifully fitting wedding dress. Her bridesmaids wore long mint-colored dresses while German and his groomsmen wore coral pants with blue jackets. The mint and coral created a stunning summer palette! Jamie and German were married outside under the giant oak tree. Family joined them from near and far to share in this very special day.

After the ceremony, we stuck around with the newlyweds for some lovely couples’ portraits under that beautiful tree. The sky was full of dramatic clouds as the rain started to roll in. Josh got a magnificent silhouette of the scene! When we were through taking pictures, we all rode back to the barn on a hayride (fun!) to join the reception. Jamie and German surprised everyone with their bachata moves during their first dance. Not long after, everyone else joined in on the dance floor for an evening filled with party music and latin dancing.
