Durham Magazine | Published Weddings
Josh and I are so happy to share that one of our recent weddings was published in Durham Magazine! Nina and Patrick had their beautiful wedding this January at Bay 7 in Durham. Their celebration was gorgeous and full of wonderful candid moments. They submitted their photos to Durham Magazine and we are honored to have our work featured in this awesome publication!
Here is what the Durham Magazine had to say in their May article:
“Timing was everything for Patrick Means and Nina Harrell. Nina, a Jordan High School grad, met Patrick at a church event 15 years ago, and the couple went to a Durham Bulls game for their first date. They lost touch after parting ways to attend college, with Nina heading to UNC and Patrick to Rutgers.
“Twelve years later, the two reconnected during a chance meeting at RDU Airport when they were both traveling after the Thanksgiving holiday. They exchanged numbers, and, after dating for six months, Patrick proposed to Nina on the final morning of a beach vacation. He planned a romantic walk by the ocean as well as a breakfast picnic and, as they watched the sunrise he said “I pray God gives us many more sunrises together” before popping the question.
“Their January 3 wedding at First Presbyterian Church drew 220 of the couple’s closest friends and family- including the brides’s parents Russell and Cynthia Harrell of Durham, and the groom’s parents, Gerry and Rodell Means of Cary- and was followed by a reception at Bay 7. The Angus Barn catered a menu of Southern comfort food and Sweet Memories Bakery provided a decadent red velvet cake. The couple resides in New Brunswick New Jersey.”
Durham Magazine is the largest community magazine in North Carolina. We are so thrilled at the opportunity to share these photos with other locals. You can find Nina and Patrick’s Wedding in the May edition of the Durham Magazine.
