We just love photographing at Claxton Farm. The scenery here is gorgeous, and the food created by their catering staff is just delicious. We’ve witnessed so many happy couples get married here, and we are always so happy to come back.

A Wedding Venue Located Just Outside of Asheville

Claxton Farm is located in beautiful Weaverville, just down the windy scenic road from Asheville, North Carolina. This wedding venue makes for a great destination wedding location too because it is quinticentially “Asheville”.

An Asheville Barn Wedding Venue

This wedding venue holds sweeping mountainous landscapes and a big inviting barn. The indoor section of the barn is plenty spacious to fit a decently sized guest list. And the patio is the perfect spot for the dance floor. Dancing can also happen indoors if the weather isn’t cooperative.

The lawn in front of the barn is the most common location for outdoor ceremonies at the wedding venue. Here, you have a backdrop of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Oftentimes, these mountains look “smokey” with clouds clinging to their tops. This especially happens after a rain storm runs through the area.

There is also a lovely little area on the property with a little pond and a willow tree that is lovely for pictures. This is often where couples do their newlywed photos or first look. I also know a special little nook with the best mountain views that I love to take my couples too.
