If you are looking for a wedding venue in Boone that makes a statement, look no further than The Twickenham House! This gorgeous gothic estate is a destination all its own. It’s located in the adorable town of West Jefferson, which is just a stone’s throw away from Boone.
The Mountaintop Estate surrounded by Cliffs and Forest
This private estate is situated at the end of a windy road through the woods up on a mountaintop. It’s located not too far from Boone, but the roads take a little while to drive. Though the drive in is sure to set the mood for the gorgeous gothic home you are about to see. However, once you get to the house, you are all set. There are plenty of beautiful rooms and beds here to spend the whole weekend with your dearest. As a luxury destination wedding venue, this is a lovely feature.
The Ceremony Sites : The Cliff and Lawn
There are so many wonderful places to hold your ceremony at The Twickenham House and Hall. There is a beautiful lawn right next to the house where I have photographed weddings. However, the most popular spot to get married is on The Cliff. This spot has plenty of room for guests to sit and faces off into the scenery of mountain ridges. It truly is gorgeous!
I love all of the many gorgeous spots to take pictures after the ceremony as well. Watching the sun set over the mountains from the top of these cliffs is gorgeous!
The Twickenham House Reception Hall
Getting to the reception is very easy, as it’s located directly across from the Twickenham House. The planners here have golf carts to help get around though in case any of your guests need help. The Hall is done in more of a lodge style, and even has a cozy fireplace. It’s the perfect place to celebrate the night away with friends and family.
