Chelsie | Boho Portrait Session in Downtown Raleigh
Chelsie is a California girl who came to North Carolina to visit her best friend Camie. Camie is one of our previous brides, and when Chelsie saw her wedding portraits she wanted to have the Hartman Outdoor Photography experience for herself. Am I ever glad that she did :). This girl’s style is just so awesome and bohemian- totally our kind of client. She looked like she just stepped out of an Anthropologie catalog. And that textile jacket? I want it! When Chelsie told me the sort of vibe she was going for in her photo shoot, I knew I had to take her to my favorite top-secret location. I could shoot at this place for days, but I save it for certain occasions because I want to keep it special. Chelsie wanted something very rustic and earthy with a bit of an urban vibe- which fits the bill perfectly for the Raleigh locale. The day we scheduled the shoot was dreary and grey- but I knew this would only add to the ambiance we wanted for the pictures. Chelsie accessorized with military boots, a red hat, and all kinds of cool and funky jewelry. At the end of the shoot, she even picked a feathery strand of grass and placed it in her hair. God, I love this woman! Camie came along to help out on the shoot and we had so much fun hanging out I could have totally forgotten I was working. Thank you so much for asking me to photograph your visit to Raleigh, North Carolina Chelsie! It was wonderful being able to meet you. ~ Shelley Hartman, Raleigh Wedding and Portrait Photographer
