Kristine + Travis | Oaks at Salem Apex Wedding
Kristine and Travis had an absolutely stunning wedding this September at the ever-lovely Oaks at Salem in Apex, North Carolina. The air was warm and the sky was bright blue for their outdoor ceremony. Kristine and Travis were married under a tall oak tree, surrounded by their family and friends. The gown Kristine wore was hand-made by a family friend (who is also the owner of Sew There Craft Store in Angier, NC) and featured the buttons from her mother’s wedding dress. It looked so beautiful on Christine’s elegant frame. After the ceremony, Christine, Travis, and their wedding party hung out by the lake for some fun group shots. The light was so soft and beautiful. I just love how these turned out! Before long, we headed over to the tent for a lively outdoor reception. Christine and Travis decorated the tables in burlap and blue. Their flower arrangements added another soft pop of color to this classic color scheme while twinkling lights hung from above. The DJ got the party started with a very entertaining game for the bridal party before opening up the dance floor for the rest of the guests. Nearly everyone got out on the dance floor at least once throughout the night. It was a great party! At last, it was time for Christine and Travis to make their exit. The two ran to their getaway vehicle through a line of sparklers as all of their friends and family cheered. Kristine and Travis, thank you so much for asking us to be a part of this beautiful day! We know you two have a lifetime of fun and happiness ahead of you! ~ Shelley and Josh Hartman, Apex Wedding Photographers
