Anna + Anthony | Thomasville Wedding

Anna and Anthony were married last weekend at the beautiful Angel’s Cottage located just outside of Charlotte in Thomasville, NC. Their families traveled from all across the world to join them on this joyous event. Anna’s parents flew in from Zimbabwe, while some of their other guests came from London and Australia. Anna actually had not seen her parents in eleven years since she came to the U.S., making this occasion all the more special. We loved capturing the endearing moments between Anna and her sweet family!

Anna and Anthony were married outside under an elegant pergola on the cottage property. The pergola was decorated in ivy and stunning floral arrangements. Anna’s bridesmaids looked radiant in ruby red as they stood beside the altar. Anna and Anthony shared their own heartfelt vows before saying “I do” and sharing their first kiss as husband and wife.

Their wedding reception was held outside overlooking the lake at Angel’s Cottage. Tables were decorated in shades of red and white and the weather was absolutely perfect. Sticking with the colors of her wedding, Anna changed into a perfectly fitted red dress for the reception. The newlyweds wowed us all with a very lively choreographed first dance before opening up the dance floor to all of their guests. Many of these guests were Anthony’s rugby teammates. We even got to see a couple rugby demonstrations! The party went on until late in the night when Anna and Anthony made their way to the after party in a cloud of bubbles.
